Students with special needs are those who in addition to profound deafness have other disabilities. These students have individualized programs which allow for maximum opportunities for individual and small group instruction throughout the school day.  Emphasis is placed on the development of:

• Self-help skills
• Socialization skills
• Communication skills
• Functional academic skills
• Appropriate behavioral skills

    Students also have classes in Art, Physical Education, Dance, Library Instruction and Computer Instruction.
