ST FRANCIS DE SALES SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF

Physical Education Program

 Physical Education Program

In the Physical Education Program all students are introduced  to a variety of experiences which are designed to promote good physical well being for life.

This Physical Education Program approaches the learning tasks of social understanding and adjustment through specially chosen social experiences. Group activities are designed to help the student understand his/her role and contribution to the group goal. The students are helped to learn to control their own bodies, as well as other objects, and, through these experiences, build feelings of personal worth and adequacy.

Students also have an opportunity to participate in after-school basketball and cheerleading programs.
